Ways to Contribute:

As of June 10, 2024, we are a registered non-profit organization of Puerto Rico.

We are currently engaged in the 501(c)(3) status application process

If you like what we are attempting and would like to contribute in some way or support some of our efforts, here are a few ways to do so.

Public Library: Biblioteca Blana E. Colberg Rodriguez

We are working with the Biblioteca Blanca E. Colberg Rodriguez to improve its facilities and equipment.  Our current priority is a much-needed computer upgrade for the computer lab portion of the library.  The public and students of all ages utilize these resources daily.

A Christmas Carol (youth drama production)

If you are interested in acting or in any of the many other facets of play production (set design, lighting, costumes, stage management, etc.), please let us know.

Amigos & Seeds

Within the next few months, we are hoping to begin a project that we have been excited about for a long time.  The project involves a community garden and seed/plant exchange as well as work with the city to improve recycling availability.  We will provide more specifics as to ways to contribute as we get closer to implementation.  For now, if you are interested in the general idea, please let us know.

Scholarships and other Financial Support

Us & Friends offers as many free or reduced-priced courses, workshops, events, projects, and opportunities as we can--it's part of our ethos.  Currently, around one-third to one-half of our courses are being provided at no cost to the participants.  Thus far, Damaris and Jack have solely funded this.  However, as we (Jack & Damaris) are transitioning more of our focus and time toward "Us & Friends" and consequently away from our other sources of income, our ability to continue to provide services for free in the same capacity and quantity that we currently do, is proportionally reduced.

Us & Friends (and the Fosters) currently do not receive any funds, supplies, or assistance of any kind from any source outside of tuition charged for the courses and workshops.  As of now, the Fosters personally fund all of Us & Friends's other projects.  We are currently looking at various possibilities that may open up some provisional doors in the future, but as of now, we are limited only to funds received from tuition.
